Dietary guidelines both in Israel and abroad promote the consumption of fish. However, studies that helped form the current recommendations were largely based on the nutritional profile of wild-caught fish. What are the implications of the mass farming of fish in industrial fisheries? We will examine environmental, nutritional and health aspects of fish consumption.
